When this Petition was called out, neither the Petitioner nor the Advocate for the Petitioner were present physically or through V.C. mode. The names of the Petitioner and the Advocate for the Petitioner were called out by the Sheristedar. 2.

Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned APP for the Respondent/State, refers to the order dated 03 February 2026 passed by this Court, which reads as follows "1.

When the matter was called out today, neither the Petitioner nor the Advocate for the Petitioner are present in the Court, either physically or through Video Conferencing mode.

In order to afford an opportunity to the Petitioner/Advocate for the Petitioner to appear before this Court, list the matter on 16th April 2026. 3.

Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned APP for the Respondent/State, submits that the absence of the Petitioner/Advocate for the Petitioner on the last date and again today is a clear indication that the Petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present Petition. He, therefore, insists for dismissal of this Petition.

To afford an opportunity to the Petitioner/Advocate for the Petitioner to appear and argue the Petition, as a matter of indulgence, list this Petition on 17 April 2026 under the caption "For Dismissal".
