1) Learned A.P.P. on instructions from Inspector General of Prisons, Nashik Division, Nashik submitted that, in view of the discussion in the Court, the concerned competent Authority has modified the Order dated 7th November, 2025 and has passed an Order dated 17th March, 2026. That, the Petitioner instead of furnishing a surety of Rs.1,00,000/- and P.R. Bond of Rs.1,00,000/- and surety of same amount of his close relative, now will have to furnish a cash surety of Rs.20,000/- with P.R. Bond of Rs.20,000/-. That, the Petitioner will have to give two sureties of Rs.20,000/- each, who are his close relatives. She submitted that, the said Order 7th November, 2025 is modified to that extent.

KSG 4-WP-451-2026.doc 2) As far as submitting two sureties is concerned, we deem it appropriate in the interest of justice, to direct the Petitioner to furnish one surety of Rs.20,000/- instead of two sureties. The Order dated 17th March, 2026, is modified to that extent.

3) In view of the above, grievance of the Petitioner is redressed and Petition is accordingly allowed in the aforesaid terms. 4) All the concerned to act on the basis of an authenticated copy of this Order.
