Mr. Mohan Rao, the learned counsel appears for the intervener, namely, Mukesh Kimtani, who has filed the interim application viz. Interim Application (St) No. 4810 of 2026. The learned counsel for the intervener has made several allegations against the petitioner.

We are, however, not inclined to go into those facts as this Writ Petition No. 487 of 2026 has been rendered infructuous in view of the statement made by Mr. S. V. Gavand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation in First Information Report No. 43 of 2021 has been entrusted to Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Pune Rural.
