On the last occasion, the learned APP has stated that the arrest is effected by the NCB and, therefore, we had granted leave to the learned counsel for the Petitioner to add NCB as a party Respondent. However, today learned APP states that the Anti Narcotics Cell i.e. ANC is the investigating agency which had effected arrest in this case. Learned counsel for the Petitioner has rightly added Anti Narcotics Cell as the Respondent No.4.

Learned APP seeks time to file affidavit-in-reply. It shall be filed on or before the next date with a copy to the other side. Stand over to 9.4.2026.
