The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following prayer: "a) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order and direction directing the Respondents to forthwith conduct necessary enquiry against the officers of Kalwa Police Station for not taking any action against the Accused who has been handed over to the police authorities committing theft caught red handed save and except registration of an FIR for the name sake and subject to outcome of the same, necessary action be initiated against the concerned officers in accordance with law."

Mr. S.V. Gavand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that a charge-sheet has been filed. While so, we decline to entertain this Writ Petition No.871 of 2026 which is accordingly dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail of other statutory remedy, if any, available to him in law.
