By the present Petition, the Petitioner is seeking the following substantive relief in terms of prayer clause (a):- That this Hon'ble court be kind enough to expedite the case bearing C. C. No. :

304/PW/2008 pending before the 4th Judicial Magistrate at Girgaon, Mumbai and conclude the trial within a fixed time frame.

Mr. Deepak Kushwaha states that the Complainant is attempting to delay the proceedings bearing C.C. No.

304/PW/2008 by filing frivolous applications, thereby prejudicing the Petitioner. As a result, the Petitioner has no option but to approach this Court seeking a direction for the expeditious disposal of the case bearing C.C. No. 304/PW/2008. 4.

Mr Tanveer Khan, learned APP for the Respondent - State, submits that, since the proceedings date back to 2008, they can be expedited.

Data on pending cases or matters older than the current case, if any, pending before the 4th Judicial Magistrate, Girgaon, Mumbai, are not brought before me.

Considering the criminal proceedings bearing C.C. No.: 304/PW/2008 before the 4th Judicial Magistrate at Girgaon, Mumbai, which has been pending since 2008, the 4th Judicial Magistrate, Girgaon, Mumbai, is requested to make an effort to dispose of C.C. No. 304/PW/2008 expeditiously. 7.

Mr. Deepak Kushwaha, learned Advocate for the Petitioner, states that this Petition can be disposed of with the abovementioned observations.

In view of the above, Writ Petition No. 898 of 2026 is disposed of.
