This is a Petition of issuing Writ of Habeas Corpus. The Petitioner is the mother of three and a half year old special child. It is not necessary to go into the details of grievance made by the Petitioner 1/3

in this Petition because the parties have arrived at a settlement. 2.

The matter was listed before us on 06/03/2026. Both the learned Counsel, in particular, learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that they would make sincere efforts to bring the parents of the special child together. We are happy to note that, today, we are informed that their efforts were successful. The parents of the special child have decided to come together for the sake of their special child and for the sake of their relationship.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent Nos.5 to 7 submitted that the Petitioner had lodged an F.I.R. vide C.R. No.142 of 2026 registered at D. N. Nagar Police Station, Mumbai. The Respondent No.5 as well as the Petitioner are present in the Court. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner on instructions, makes a statement that the Petitioner will not precipitate the criminal prosecution further in view of this settlement. The statement is recorded and accepted. 4.

In this view of the matter, no further directions are necessary in 2/3

this Petition.

Before parting with this Order, we must record our heartfelt sincere appreciation for the efforts put in by both the learned Counsel for the parties and the reasonable stand taken by the parties themselves. With these observations, Writ Petition No.944 of 2026 is disposed of.
