Learned Senior Counsel appearing for petitioner, on instructions, states that he is not pressing the aforesaid writ petition Wakodikar 1/2

902-WP-1142-2026.doc and the interim application at this stage because of the prevailing situation. He seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition as well as the interim application with liberty to file appropriate proceedings in future, if occasion arises. Permission is granted. 2.

The writ petition and the interim application pending therein, are allowed to be withdrawn with such liberty and disposed of accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not made any comments on the merits of the matter.
