The Petitioner is a Law Graduate and claims to be a law practitioner. According to the Petitioner, certain persons have illegally acquired the benefit of the 'Mukhyamantri - Mazi Ladaki Bahin Yojana'. According to the Petitioner, the said persons have indulged in a fraud and have defrauded the State Government. The Petitioner claims that, because she is a taxpayer, legal injury has been caused to her by the said persons.

We find that this Petition is not filed in the nature of a PIL. The Petitioner has preferred a Criminal Writ Petition. The Gauri Gaekwad

16.WP-1380-2026.odt persons against whom allegations are made have not been arrayed as parties to the Petition. A prayer is made that a crime may be registered against the said five persons.

Considering the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Sakiri Vasu v/s. State of Uttar Pradesh and Ors.1 and Sudhir Bhaskarrao Tambe v/s. Hemant Yashwant Dhage and Ors.2, we are not inclined to entertain this Petition. If the Petitioner has a grievance against the said five persons and desires that an FIR be registered against them, filing of a Writ Petition is not the remedy. If the Petitioner desires, she may approach the concerned Police Station and initiate appropriate steps.
