P.C. :
1.
Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner, learned APP and learned counsel for Respondent No.2.
2.
By this petition, the petitioner is seeking no objection certificate of this Court for issuance of passport.
3.
It is contention of learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Passport Authority has issued passport to the Petitioner, but, Passport Authority requires no objection certificate of this Court and requested to allow the Petition.
4.
It is contention of learned counsel appearing for Passport Authority that Petitioner has suppressed the fact that criminal complaint pending against him. Hence, fresh notice issued against him. If Petitioner
149WP 1388 of 2026.doc Tikam files fresh application for issuance of passport, the Passport Authority decides the same on its own merit and requested to pass appropriate order.
5.
Learned APP submits that appropriate order be passed. 6.
I have heard all learned counsel. Considering submissions of all learned counsel, I pass following order:
ORDER
(i) Petition is allowed.
(ii) Petitioner shall file fresh application for renewal of passport before the Passport Authority. The Passport Authority shall decide the application on its own merit without seeking no objection of this Court. (iii) Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
