Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 2.

The challenge in this petition is to a notice dated 5th January 2026, issued under Section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, calling upon the Petitioner to show cause as to why action of externment under Section 56 of the said Act may not be taken against the Petitioner.

The Petitioner has the opportunity to bring to the notice of the competent authority the facts which are sought to be urged in this petition. Thus, with liberty to place all the facts before the competent authority, in the externment proceedings, the petition stands disposed. [N. J. JAMADAR, J.] 1/1
