Mr. Prasanna Malshe, learned APP for the Respondent - State submits that the chargesheet in the Crime bearing No. 128 of 2024 was filed as far back as 17.03.2025. He submits that this Petition is filed on 09.03.2026 without making a reference to the chargesheet and challenging the same.

Faced with the said objection, by relying on the decision of Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Pradnya Pranjal Kulkarni v. State of Maharashtra1, Mr. Maitreya, learned Advocate for the 2025 SCC OnLine SC 1948 Arjun
26-WP-1679-2026.doc Petitioner appearing through VC, on instructions from the Petitioner, craves leave to withdraw the present Petition, with liberty to file a composite Petition assailing the FIR impugned, chargesheet and the order taking cognizance by the Court. 3.
Request made by Mr. Maitreya, is not objected to by Mr. Prasanna Malshe, learned APP for the Respondent - State. 4.
In view of the statement made by Mr. Maitreya, learned Advocate for the Petitioner and the no objection by Mr. Prasanna Malshe, learned APP, leave is granted to withdraw the present Petition with liberty to file appropriate proceedings as may be available in terms of law.

All contentions of the Respondents are kept open. 6.
Criminal Writ Petition No. 1679 of 2026 is disposed of as withdrawn.
