This is a writ petition for directions to transfer the investigation in C.R.No. 16 of 2026 registered at Antop Hill Police Station to some other Police Station.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned APP submitted that there is a cross FIR lodged by the petitioner vide C.R.No. 15 of 2026 at the same Antop Hill Police Station. Learned APP states that in both these offences, chargesheets are filed. Learned Wakodikar 1/2

4-WP-1968-2026.doc APP, on instructions of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone IV, Matunga, Mumbai states that he has transferred the investigation in C.R.No. 15 of 2026 to Sion Police Station and the Investigating Officer would be API Mr. Vikas Jadhav. Similarly, C.R.No. 16 of 2026 registered at Antop Hill Police Station is transferred to Wadala TT Police Station for investigation and the Investigating Officer would be API Mr. Gopichand Nerkar.

Since the main prayer of the petitioner is satisfied, no further directions are necessary. It is made clear that the new investigating agencies in both these aforementioned offences shall carry out investigation in accordance with law and shall file supplementary chargesheet if necessary.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
