This is a Petition mainly for the prayer for directions to provide police protection to the Petitioner in connection with CR No.I-130 of 2026, registered at Kashigaon Police Station. There are other consequential prayers made in the Petition.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, states that the main accused, from whom the Petitioner was apprehending danger, is already arrested in another matter and, as of today, he is in custody. Therefore, as of today, there is no necessity to pass urgent orders. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner has already made an application before the police __________________________________________________ 15th June 2026

sg 8.wp2574-26.docx authorities for police protection. He submitted that, directions be issued to consider that application independently, without being influenced by withdrawal of this Petition. He seeks liberty to file a fresh Petition in the subject matter for protection, if need arises in future. With such liberty, the learned Counsel seeks withdrawal of this Petition.

Permission is granted. The Petition is allowed to be withdrawn with such liberty. The police authorities shall consider her application without being influenced by withdrawal of this Petition. 4.

The Petition is disposed of.
