On 28.01.2026, following order was passed:

Ms. Roma Bondade, learned counsel appearing for Mr. Bute, learned counsel, has marked her appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.2 and 3. 2.

By order dated 14.01.2026, this Court observed inaction on the part of respondent No.3 in not lodging the FIR, despite the issue being covered by the judgment of this Court in the case of Dr. Jayant Vasantanrao Awchar vs. State of Maharashtra and others. Respondent No.3 is, therefore, directed to file an affidavit explaining the inaction on his part. 3.

As far as respondent Nos.4 to 6 are concerned, the notice is still awaited. The learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to serve the unserved respondents by all available modes of service, including Court notice, and to file an affidavit of service to that effect.

List the matter for further consideration on 09th February, 2026."

Counsel for respondent No.3 makes a statement that necessary steps will be taken in terms of law laid down in the case of Dr. Jayant Vasantrao Awchar .Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors. 3.
