The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking directions to the respondents to place on record the present status of the missing person report bearing Registration No. 1/2025 pertaining to the disappearance of Atul Shriram Chate.

Learned APP, on instructions, submits that till date no information has been received and the investigating agency has not been able to trace the said missing person.

In view of the submissions made and the contents of the reply, Respondent No. 3 is directed to personally monitor the investigation and place on record a report indicating the steps taken to trace the missing person.

List the petition in the week commencing from 6th April, 2026.
