The prayer is to direct the learned 2nd Joint Civil Judge, Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class, Wani, to pronounce judgment in Regular Criminal Case No.230/2018 within a time bound period.

According to the petitioner, the matter was reserved for judgment on 31st May, 2024.

Before we consider the prayer, it will be appropriate to call report of the learned Magistrate concerned as to the status of the proceedings pending before the Court. The learned Magistrate shall submit the report by 7th April, 2026.

In response, the learned Magistrate has filed status report. We have gone through the report to find that presently, the Magistrate has some genuine
