By this petition, the petitioner is seeking Habeas Corpus along with directions to the respondents to produce detenue Vaishali D/o Manohar Aadakne before this Court to set the detenue at liberty by releasing her from the illegal and unlawful detention.

It is submitted by the petitioner that the petitioner and detenue got acquaintance with each other through Instagram. Thereafter, the friendship was developed them, which resulted into love relationship. Being the petitioner is belonged to Scheduled Castes Community and the detenue is Hindu community. There was opposition of respondent nos. 2 to 7. Thereafter, the petitioner and detenue decided to leave their respective homes and solemnized their marriage at Aurangabad. Accordingly, the marriage certificate is also obtained by them. As soon as the detenue left her matrimonial house, the respondent nos. 2 to 7 lodged SKNair

The detenue made a complaint to the respondent no.1 stating that she had already performed the marriage with the petitioner out of free will and apprehends threat of life. The said complaint was also received by the respondent no.1. Thereafter, the detenue was taken away by the respondent no.2 to 7 against her will and she is in illegal confinement.

In view of that, issue notice to the respondent nos. 2 to 7, returnable on 29.04.2026.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent no.1/State and seeks time to file reply. 5.
Respondent nos. 2 and 3 shall produce the detenue before this Court on 29.04.2026.
