It is informed by learned APP that near about eleven

(11) witnesses have been examined in Sessions Case No.204 of 2024 which is on the verge of conclusion. It is submitted that two (2) more witnesses will be examined.

Ends of the justice would be met in directing the Presiding Officer to conclude the trial expeditiously instead of dealing with the present application on merits at this stage. A liberty is also sought by learned counsel for the applicant in case the trial is not concluded within a reasonable period. He seeks leave to withdraw bail application.

Leave is granted.

Bail application is disposed of as withdrawn with a direction to the Presiding Officer to conclude the trial expeditiously.

Learned APP also ensures that prompt steps would be taken to examine the witnesses.

It is made clear that if the trial is not concluded within a reasonable period, applicant shall be at liberty to file application afresh for bail either before the Trial Court or High Court.
