By this application, the applicant is seeking amendment in original petition contending that by this petition, the petitioner was seeking direction to initiate enquiry against the erring police officers. He submitted that from the reply, it reveals that enquiry is already initiated, but no opportunity was granted to the petitioner to raise his grievance before the Enquiry Committee and, therefore, amendment is required. 2.

In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, amendment application is allowed. The learned counsel for the petitioner shall carry out amendment within two weeks. Amended copy be placed on record and be supplied to the respondents. 3.
