On 25-3-2026, following order was passed.

"The request is to release the appellant on interim bail for executing the sale deed and for making arrangements of funds for the children. 02.

In response to our order dated 16/03/2026, the learned A.P.P. submits that the appellant can be taken to the Sub-Registrar's Office for executing the sale deed under police protection at his own expenses.

The petitioner is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376-DB of the Indian Penal Code and has been sentenced to undergo life imprisonment. He intends to sell the property belonging to the joint family. He being one of the co-owners, his presence is necessary.

Since there is no other mode available to facilitate him to execute the sale deed from jail, we allow the application partly. The appellant shall be released on temporary bail for a period of two days, commencing from 1st April, 2026 at 09:00 a.m. to 2nd April, 2026 till 05:00 p.m. The respondent shall make necessary arrangements for security upon

Order apeal 610.2025.odt payment to be made by the petitioner. The amount for security arrangement shall be quantified and informed to the appellant by 27th March, 2026. In turn, the appellant shall deposit the amount by 30th March, 2026. The appellant shall make necessary arrangements to get the documents executed either on 1st April, 2026 or 2nd April, 2026.

We make it clear that we will not extend the time period. The appellant himself shall surrender by 05:00 p.m. on 2nd April, 2026. The security deputed shall also ensure compliance of this order. The appellant shall file a report of compliance by 6th April, 2026.

The application is disposed of in terms of above.

List the matter on 7th April, 2026."

Learned counsel for the appellant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor submit that the sale deed has been executed and petitioner surrendered within stipulated period. Thus, the order is duly complied with.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that compliance pursis is filed. Registry shall take note of the same.

Criminal Appeal No. 610 of 2025 List the appeal in due course.
