DATED : 06-05-2026 By this application, the applicant is seeking condonation of delay of 2259 days, which is caused in filing the appeal against conviction. 2.
Heard the learned Counsel appointed for the applicant. She submitted that due to the financial constraints the applicant could not approach the counsel and prefer the appeal within time. Subsequently, he approached the High Court Legal Services Sub-Committee, Nagpur and thereafter this application is filed through it. 3.
She submitted that there was no intention on the part of the applicant to cause the delay, but it it caused due to the financial constraints. Moreover, the statutory right of the applicant is involved in the appeal.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has strongly opposed the same.

Considering the grounds raised in the application, which appear to be reasonable and justifiable, moreover, the statutory right of the applicant is involved in the case, the delay of 2259 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The appeal be registered. 6.
The application is disposed of accordingly.
