By this application, the applicant is seeking suspension of sentence which is passed in Summary Criminal Case No.12078/2016, by which the applicant is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment upto three months and to pay compensation of Rs.12,00,000/- to the complainant and the same is confirmed in Criminal Appeal No.30/2022.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that he has every chance of success in the present revision application. However, it would take its own time for its final disposal. In the meantime, if the sentence is executed, the revision would become infructuous.

In view of the submissions, the execution of sentence passed in Summary Criminal Case No.12078/2016 confirmed in Criminal Appeal No.30/2022 is hereby suspended till disposal of the criminal revision application.

The applicant shall be released on bail on executing PR bond of Rs.15,000/- with one solvent surety of the like amount.

The application is disposed of.

Learned APP waives notice for the non-applicant No.1/State.
