The present application is filed seeking relaxation of Condition Nos.(vii) and (ix) incorporated in the order dated 19.12.2024, which reads as under :- "(vii).

The applicant shall surrender his passport if he is having before the Investigating Officer.

(viii) ...

(ix) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station twice in a month on 1st and 15th of every month and the Investigating Officer or the Officer in-charge of the said Police Station shall record his presence."

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that validity of passport of the applicant is going to expire by the end of this year i.e. 2026, and therefore, he submits that at present he will not press prayer relating to condition no.(vii). He further submits that liberty be granted to file fresh application before expiry of the passport.

So far as condition No.(ix) is concerned, admittedly the order was passed on 19.12.2024 and almost one and a half years are over, the applicant is attending the police station, as was directed by condition no.(ix).

Learned A.P.P. opposes the application.

Howevr, considering the above facts and circumstances, I am inclined to relax condition no.(ix). The applicant is now not required to attend the police station as was directed by the order dated 19.12.2024. Criminal application is partly allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Signed by: R.G.
