A limited prayer in the application is to have expedited hearing and disposal of Criminal Case No.2149/SC/2024 filed by the Applicant for an offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

The Applicant-Complainant is 71 years of age. The Court is informed that the plea of the accused has been recorded on 14th July 2025.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the learned Magistrate seized with Criminal Case No.2149/SC/2024 is requested to make an endeavor to hear and decide the said case as expeditiously as possible, keeping in Ajit 1/2
