Heard Mr. Ditendra Mishra, learned Advocate for the Applicant and Mr. Kiran Shinde, learned APP for the State. 2.
By the present Application, the Applicant has sought for the following substantive reliefs :- "(a) This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow the present Application and quash and set aside the impugned F.I.R. bearing C. R. No. 169 of 2014 registered with R.C.F. Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 332, 336, 353, 427, 504
of I.P.C. against the Applicant."

Mr. Ditendra Mishra, learned Advocate for the Applicant, submits that the Crime bearing No. 169/2014 culminated in filing of charge sheet, which was initially registered as Criminal Case No. 1750 of 2014. He submits that the said proceeding is now registered as Sessions Case No. 1681 of 2019 and is pending before Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Court Room No. 10, City Sessions Court, Greater Mumbai. He submits that out of the 8 witnesses, as on date the prosecution has examined only two witnesses. He submits that the pendency of said criminal proceedings is causing grave prejudice to the Applicants as his future job prospects are affected. He on instructions from the Applicant restricts this Application, by requesting for a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the Sessions Case No. 1681 of 2019 in a time bound manner. 4.
Mr. Kiran Shinde, learned APP for the State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer Mr. Pradeep Shinde submits that the prosecution shall examine and complete examination of all the prosecution witnesses within a period of six
months from 1st March, 2026.

Considering that the proceedings against the Applicant are pending from the year 2014, the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Court Room No. 10, City Sessions Court, Greater Mumbai is requested to make an endeavour to dispose of the proceedings bearing Sessions Case No. 1681 of 2019 on its own merits as expeditiously as possible and within a period of one year from 1st March, 2026.

Mr. Ditendra Mishra, on instructions from the Applicant states that the Applicant shall co-operate with the early disposal of the proceedings and shall not seek any adjournment. The prosecution to take note of the statement made by Mr. Kiran Shinde before this Court and ensure that there is no delay in examining the prosecution witnesses.

Mr. Ditendra Mishra, undertakes to place this order before the Additional Sessions Judge, Court Room No. 10, City Sessions Court, Greater Mumbai on 23.2.2026.

Criminal Application No. 175 of 2026 is disposed of in the above said terms.
