DATE : 30th APRIL, 2026 P.C. :- 1) Heard learned Counsel for the respective parties. 2) Present Application seeking a direction to the Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, Mumbai to expedite the hearing of the Appeal filed by the Applicant against the Order of Externment dated 7th January, 2026 passed by the Respondent No.1 - Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone - VI, Chembur, Mumbai, thereby, externing the Applicant for a period of 18 months from the limits of Greater Mumbai. 3) Learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Externment Order is causing great hardship to the Applicant and his dependent mother. According to him, there was no sufficient material to pass the Externment Order.

4) Considering the submissions made by the respective parties, the following Order is passed :- 1/2

(b) The Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, Mumbai is directed to expedite the hearing of the Appeal filed by the Applicant against the Order of Externment dated 7th January, 2026 and dispose of the said Appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this Order. 5) Application stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
