CORAM:
R. M. JOSHI, J.
DATED:
22nd APRIL, 2026 PC:- 1.
On the previous date, learned counsel for the applicant was heard. He sought bail solely on the ground that applicant had not been provided with the grounds of arrest in writing so also grounds of arrest were also not provided in writing to the relatives / friends nominated by the applicant. To support this submission, reliance placed on the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Vihan Kumar Vs. State of Haryana. 2.
Learned APP opposed the application to grant bail by pointing out the relevant documents on record indicating that the 22nd APRIL, 2026
49-BA-30-2026 Navnath Waghmare applicant was communicated with the grounds of arrest and it was informed to Shrimati Laxmidevi Bhatu on her mobile phone. It is her contention that unless applicant -accused himself provides the mobile phone, it is not possible that such information is given on mobile phone to her.
3.
At the request of the learned counsel for the applicant. 4.
