By this application, the applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No.531 of 2025 registered with Baramati Taluka Police Station, District Pune, for the offences punishable under Sections 109, 118(1), 115(2), 140(1), 189(2), 190, 191(1), 191(2) and 191(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

It is prosecution's case that on 21st December 2025, the coaccused assaulted the first informant with sickle with the intention to kill him. It is alleged that the applicant came at the spot and took assailants in his car.

It is contention of learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant did not participate in the assault on the first informant. The allegation against him is that he took the assailants in his car. The

applicant is behind bars for around than two months. Hence, requested to allow the application.

It is contention of learned APP that the applicant took the victim in his car and helped the assailants to run away from the incident spot. It shows his involvement in the crime and requested to reject the application.

I have heard both learned counsel, perused the charge-sheet and documents produced on record. The applicant did not participate in the assault on the first informant. The allegations against him are that he helped the co-accused to flee away from the incident spot. The applicant is behind bars for around two months. The investigation is completed and charge-sheet has been filed. Considering these facts, I pass following order :

ORDER

(i) The applicant be enlarged on bail in Crime No.531 of 2025 registered with Baramati Taluka Police Station, District Pune, on executing P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when required.

(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence or attempt to influence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case.

The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed of.

It is made clear that the above observations are made only for the purpose of granting bail and the Trial Court shall decide the case on its own merits in accordance with law and uninfluenced by the observations made in this order.
