The learned APP as well as the learned counsel appearing for the applicant submit that seven witnesses have already been examined. The learned APP submits that the prosecution is going to examine further seven to eight witnesses and the trial can be concluded within three to four months.

No doubt the applicant is behind bars since 01/07/2002, near about three and half years are over. Under such circumstances, when the trial has already been commenced and seven witnesses are examined and yet seven to eight witnesses are remained to be examined, the purpose would be served by requesting the trial court to conclude the trial within two months. In case the trial is

2 26 BA 252.26 not concluded within two months, the applicant is at liberty to file the application before this Court. The Trial Court is also requested to conduct the trial on day to day basis.
