After hearing for some time, when this Court has shown its disinclination to grant bail, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant, seeks permission to withdraw the present application, with liberty to file a fresh application, in case, the trial is not concluded within six months. He further submits that the trial Court be directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a stipulated period, i.e., within six months, considering the fact that the maximum punishment provided is of five years for the alleged offence.

Permission granted. The Criminal Application is disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.

The trial Court is requested to conclude the trial within six months. In case, the trial is not concluded within six months, the applicant is at liberty to file a fresh application before the trial Court.

The fees of the appointed counsel be quantified and paid as per rules.
