Heard learned counsel for the Applicants and learned APP for the State.

By this application, the applicants are seeking regular bail in Crime No. 273/2025 registered with Paud Police Station for the offence punishable under Sectionsc109, 118, 126(2), 351, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sahita, 2023 (for short 'BNS').

It is prosecution's case that on 10/10/2025, around 3.30 pm. Applicants and co-accused assaulted the first informant with sickle with intention to kill him.

It is contention of learned counsel for the Applicants that Applicants are behind bars around six months. Investigation is completed
and charge-sheet has been filed. It may take time to conclude the trial and requested to allow the application.

It is contention of learned APP that Applicants and co-accused assaulted the first informant with sickle. In the said attack, the first informant has received grievous injuries. The applicants have antecedents. If they released on bail, they may abscond and threaten prosecution witnesses.

I have heard both learned counsel. Perused charge sheet and documents produced on record. Applicants are behind bars around six months. Investigation is completed and charge-sheet has been filed. It may take time to conclude the trial.

Considering these facts, I pass following order:
ORDER
(i) The Applicants -(1) Vijay Manohar Kalokhe and (2) Mahendra Vasant Kalokhe be released on bail in Crime No. 273/2025 registered with Paud Police Station, on furnishing PR bond of Rs.25,000/-each with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.
(ii) The Applicants shall attend the concerned police station, as and when called.
(iii) The Applicants shall not tamper with the evidence and/or influence the prosecution witnesses.
(iv) The Trial Court shall decide the case on its own merits and in accordance with law, uninfluenced by the observations made in this order. (v) Bail Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. (SHIVKUMAR DIGE, J.)
