This is the second bail application filed by the Applicant. The first bail application was rejected on merits. This Court made it clear to the learned counsel for the Applicant that since the first bail application was rejected on merits, this Court will not go into the merits of the case again. On this, learned counsel for the Applicant seek withdrawal of the application, with a direction to the Trial Court to complete the trial within a period of six months from today.

Learned APP submits that there are twenty witnesses yet to be examined and hence at least one year time would be required for completion of the trial. Considering the pendency before the Trial Court, request made by the learned APP seems reasonable.

Hence, bail application is dismissed as withdrawn with the direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within a period of one year from today.

In case trial is not concluded within a period of one year, it is open for the Applicant to file a fresh bail application and seek bail irrespective of rejection of earlier two applications. (R. M. JOSHI, J.) { 18th April, 2026.
