IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION BAIL APPLICATION NO. 831 OF 2026 Imran Farukh Shaikh @ Boxer ...Applicant

Versus

State of Maharashtra

...Respondents

Mr. Advait Tamhankar, i/b Nilesh S. Bangar, for the Applicant. Mr. Mayur S. Sonawane, APP for the Respondent-State.

CORAM:

R. M. JOSHI, J.

DATED:

20th APRIL, 2026.

PC:- 1.

This is the second Bail Application. After hearing both sides, this Court has declined relief to the Applicant by order dated 17th October 2025.

2.

Since the earlier Bail Application was rejected on merits, it is not open for this Court to again go into the merits of the case, and to take a different view than the one, taken in a previous order. 3.

Learned counsel for the Applicant also, on the ground of Applicant being in jail for over a period of 2 years and 6 months, seeks bail.

4.

The offence charged against the Applicant is serious in nature, which entails punishment upto 20 years. The charge has 20th April, 2026.

50-BA-831-2026.DOC been framed. Hence, this Court finds no reason to grant bail to the Applicant at this stage.

5.

The Bail Application stands dismissed.
