By the present Application the Applicant has sought for the following substantive relief in terms of prayer clause (a) :- a. This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to release the Applicant on Bail in C. R. No. 3046 of 2017 for the offences punishable Sections 5(a), 5(b) and 9 of the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1976; on such terms and conditions which may deem fit and proper. 3.

Mr. Sandhyanshiv, learned Advocate for the Applicant states Arjun

5-BA-2111-2026.doc that the Additional Sessions Judge, Niphad, by order dated 23.04.2026 passed in Criminal (Bail) Application No. 74 of 2026 has expedited the trial in RCC No. 159 of 2021(Old S.C.C. No. 175 of 2018). He submits that as per the said order, the trial is required to be completed within a period of 6 months which would expire on 22.10.2026.

Mr. Sandhyanshiv, learned Advocate for the Applicant, on instructions from the Applicant, therefore craves leave to withdraw the present Bail Application. The request made by Mr. Sandhyanshiv, is not opposed by Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned APP.

In view of the request made by Mr. Sandhyanshiv, learned Advocate for the Applicant, leave is granted to withdraw the present Bail Application.

Bail Application No. 2111 of 2026 is disposed of as withdrawn.
