Heard Mr. Niranjan Mundargi, learned Advocate for the Applicants and Mr. Ameet Palkar, learned APP for the Respondent - State.

By the present Application, the Applicants seek bail in Crime No. 61 of 2026, registered at the Koregaon Park Police Station, for offences punishable under Sections 7, 7A and 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

Mr. Ameet Palkar, learned APP for the Respondent - State, submits that the investigation in Crime No. 61 of 2026 is complete,
the chargesheet is ready and it will be filed on or before 29.06.2026.

In view of the statement made by Mr. Ameet Palkar, learned APP for the Respondent - State, Mr. Niranjan Mundargi, learned Advocate for the Applicants, on instructions from the Applicants, seeks leave to withdraw the Application with liberty to file a fresh Bail Application before the Trial Court upon filing of the chargesheet. He submits that Applicant No. 1 has a child aged 6 years and therefore requests a direction to the Trial Court to decide the Bail Application within a stipulated time. 5.
Mr. Ameet Palkar, learned APP, submits that the prosecution will cooperate in the early disposal of the fresh Bail Application that the Applicants intend to file before the Trial Court. 6.
In view of the statement made by Mr. Niranjan Mundargi, learned Advocate for the Applicants, leave is granted to withdraw the present Bail Application with liberty as prayed. 7.
If a fresh Bail Application is filed by the Applicants before the
Trial Court, the learned Trial Court is requested to consider it expeditiously on its own merits and in accordance with law. 8.
Criminal Bail Application No. 2346 of 2026 is disposed of as withdrawn.
