Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicants.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No. 771/2024 registered with Police Station, Jaripatka, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the applicant is that he showed fabricated and false documents and on the pretext of giving admission to the daughter of the complainant for M.D. Dermatology Course, took money from time to time from the complainant. The contention is that the amount of Rs.70,00,000/- (Rupees Seventy Lakhs) has been repaid to the informant/ complainant.

Issue notice to the non-applicants/State, returnable on 27.01.2026.

Considering the submissions and the fact that the amount has already been repaid to the complainant, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection. 7.

Till the next date, in the event of arrest of applicant - K. Krishnamurthy in connection with Crime No. 771/2024 registered with Police Station, Jaripatka, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, he be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with one solvent surety in the like amount.

The applicant shall attend Police Station, Jaripatka, Nagpur on 16th, 19th and 22nd January, 2026 between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm and cooperate with the investigation.
