Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No. 254/2025 registered with Police Station, Sadar, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 472, 409, 120-B r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The matter pertains to the Shalarth ID scam. The contention is that the appointment of the applicant was approved by the then Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur. On the basis of the said approval, a proposal was moved for grant of Shalarth ID. Though, the Shalarth ID was granted, no pecuniary gain was obtained by the applicant.

Issue notice to the non-applicant/State, returnable on 28.01.2026.

Learned APP waives service of notice on behalf of the non-applicants/State.

Till the next date, in the event of arrest of applicant - Smt. Punam W/o Shaikeshkumar Pardhi (Punam Arunkumar Bhagat) in connection with Crime No. 254/2025 registered with Police Station, Sadar, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 472, 409, 120-B r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, she be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with one solvent surety in the like amount.

The applicant shall attend Police Station, Sadar, Nagpur on every Wednesday between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm and cooperate with the investigation.
