Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and learned A.P.P. for the non-applicant/State. Perused the case diary.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 1580/2025 registered with Police Station, Wardha City, Dist. Wardha for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 308(5) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

It appears that the informant had a bank account with Bank of Maharashtra. On request of his friend Roshan Bhoyar, he provided the details of his bank account to be used by the applicant who did various financial transactions through the bank account of the applicant. It is also revealed that one Sayyad Farman Ali threatened to kill the informant, since the informant did not pay Rs.1,40,000/- which was credited to his account. Though, initially the informant paid Rs. 60,000/-,
2 57 aba54.26.odt however, Sayyad Farman Ali was demanding the remaining amount of Rs.80,000/- and again threatened to kill the complainant. Therefore, the informant lodged a report against the applicant and the other co-accused for using his account illegally.

There is no allegation of misappropriation of any amount of the complainant by the applicant. Rather, the case appears to be other way round. One of the coaccused who used the bank account of the complainant was demanding an amount of Rs.80,000/- which was credited to the said bank account for the other co-accused. 5.
Learned APP submits that the investigation is complete and the charge-sheet is filed.

During the pendency of this application, the applicant was protected by the ad-interim order of this Court dated 28.01.2026 with a direction to attend the concerned police. Accordingly, the applicant attended the concerned police station and cooperated in the investigation.

In view of the above and considering the fact that nothing is required to be seized from the applicant, a case is made out for confirmation of the ad-interim protection granted to the applicant.

Accordingly, the criminal application is allowed. 9.
The order dated 28.01.2026 granting ad-interim protection to the applicant is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. 11.
The application stands disposed of.
