This is an Application for anticipatory bail. MUGDHA MANOJ PARANJAPE 2.
The Applicants are apprehending their arrest in Crime No.1234 of 2025 registered with Powai Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 115, 118(1), 118(2), 189(2), 189(4), 189(6), 190, 191(1), 191(2), 333, 351(2), 351(4), 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.
It is the case of the prosecution that on the date of incident, which took place on 27th November 2025, on account of previous dispute, the present Applicants alongwith other co-accused assaulted the first informant and injured Sohan Shetty by fist and kick blows and by some weapon. It is alleged that due to the said assault, the injured Sohan Shetty sustained grievous injury.

I have heard Learned Counsel for the Applicants and Learned APP for the Respondent-State.

Learned Counsel for the Applicants submits that the alleged dispute was between the first informant and co-accused Nitin Deshmukh and Applicants have nothing to do with it. It is submitted that there are no other criminal antecedents against the present Applicants. It is submitted that Applicants are ready and willing to cooperate in the investigation. 6.
On the other hand, Learned APP for the Respondent-State submits that injured Sohan Shetty has sustained grievous injury in the incident in question. It is submitted that considering the nature of crime, the Applicants may not be released on anticipatory bail. 7.
I have perused the FIR. The main allegations are against the said coaccused Nitin Deshmukh. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the Applicants on anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order:-
ORDER
i.
The Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. ii.
In the event of the arrest of the Applicants in Crime No.1234 of 2025 registered with Powai Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 115, 118(1), 118(2), 189(2), 189(4), 189(6), 190, 191(1), 191(2), 333, 351(2), 351(4), 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, they shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) each, with one or two sureties in the like amount.
3 914-ABA 55-26.doc iii. The Applicants shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called for by the investigating officer and shall cooperate in the investigation. iv.
The Applicants shall not enter the premises of Castle Rock Society, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai 400 076 till conclusion of the trial.

The Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
