The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 1083/2025 registered with Police Station Pandharkawada, Dist. Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 26(2), 27(3), 30(2) (a), 59 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Sections 123, 223, 274 and 275 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The contention is that a Truck bearing Registration No. UP-94-AT-2305 was intercepted by the RR Jaiswal
2 3-aba-64-26.odt Police Officer wherein, contraband scented tobacco was found. The said Truck as well as the contraband scented tobacco were seized. The allegation against the applicant is that he is the owner of the said Truck.

Considering the submission as well as the fact that the contraband scented tobacco is already seized, a case is made out of grant of ad-interim anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order:- i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest applicant- Rajesh S/o. Asharam Khatik be released on bail on furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount in connection with Crime No. 1083/2025 registered with Police Station Pandharkawda, Dist. Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 26(2), 27(3), 30(2)(a), 59 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Sections 123, 223, 274 and 275 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when directed and shall co-operate in the investigation.
