Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicants.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 507/2025 registered with Police Station, Chimur, Dist. Chandrapur for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 296, 3(5), 351(2), 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The contention is that the alleged injury was caused as a result of the scuffle between the complainant and the accused. Prima facie, it appears that no voluntary assault has been attributed to the applicant and no grievous injury has been caused.

Issue notice to the non-applicant/State, returnable on 17.02.2026.

Learned A.P.P. waives service of notice on behalf of the non-applicant/State.

Considering the submissions and the contents of the FIR, perusal of case diary is necessary which is not available at present. In view of the above, a case is made out for grant of interim protection to the applicant. 7.
In the event of arrest of applicant Abdul Jahid A. Kuddus Sheikh in connection with Crime No. 507/2025 registered with Police Station, Chimur, Dist. Chandrapur for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 296, 3(5), 351(2), 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with one solvent surety in the like amount.

The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every Friday and Tuesday between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm for two weeks and cooperate with the investigation.
9.
The applicant shall not indulge in pressurizing the prosecution witnesses or tamper with the prosecution evidence in any manner.
