The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 1/2026 registered with Police Station Ramnagar, Dist. Chandrapur for the offence punishable under Section 109 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant as well as the learned APP for the non-applicant/State. 4.
Having gone through the First Information Report and the case-diary, it is revealed that on 01.01.2026 at about 03:30 pm when the complainant went to the shop of the accused to play Carrom, an altercation took place between them on account of payment of the amount due towards purchase of Pan Masala. Since the complainant was not paying the RR Jaiswal
2 61-aba-88-26.odt amount due towards purchase of Pan Masala, the applicant brought an Axe from his shop and tried to assault the complainant on his neck. However, the complainant blocked the assault using his right hand. Therefore, the complainant sustained grievous injury of fracture and lacerated wound on his right hand as a result of the assault done by the applicant by means of the Axe. The Axe used in the crime is yet to be recovered.

Considering the nature of allegation against the applicant and the role played by him, no case is made out for granting extra-ordinary relief of anticipatory bail. Hence, the application is rejected.
