Prosecution case in short is that on 24th December 2025, informant wanted to go to Pune. Therefore, he came at Ichalkaranji by his motorcycle. He parked his motorcycle at ST stand. Thereafter, he went to Pune and returned at Ichalkaranji at 9.30 pm. Thereafter, he was proceeding by his motorcycle to Mankapur Taluka Nipani. While proceeding near Darga in front of Navratna Mandal, three persons were going by motorcycle. One person threw ignited cigarette on him. Complainant asked those persons about the same. However, they raised quarrel with him. They abused and beat him by kicks

and blows. While complainant was trying to convince them, other three persons came by white colour moped and they beat him by kicks and blows. One person assaulted him by stone on his head. He was also assaulted by stone on his forehead. Thus, he sustained grievous injuries and fell unconscious. He was admitted at Axon brain spine & trauma center, Ichalkaranji. On 25-12-2025, his statement was recorded by police and crime is registered. 3.

Heard learned advocate for the applicant, learned APP for the State. Perused the investigation papers.

The applicant is a student of 11th standard. Three of the coaccused were arrested and they are released on bail. The stone allegedly used in the crime is recovered. The applicant has no criminal antecedents.

Taking into consideration the fact that the applicant is a student of 18 years and if he is arrested, his future will be spoilt, this Court is inclined to grant him bail.

Learned APP, however, submits that the motorcycle allegedly used in the crime stands in the name of applicant's father. 7.

Learned advocate for the applicant on instructions submits that the said motorcycle will be produced before the concerned Investigating Officer.

By recording the statement of learned advocate for the

applicant as an undertaking to this Court, the application is allowed. 9.

In the event of arrest, the applicant Ritesh Rahul Sonavane be released on bail in connection with C.R. No. 446 of 2025 registered with Kurundwad Police Station, District: Kolhapur for offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(2), 189(2), 190, 191(2), 191(3) and 352 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 on executing Personal Bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- with one surety in the like amount. The applicant shall not tamper the prosecution evidence.

The applicant shall produce the motorcycle used in the alleged crime before concerned Investigating Officer and shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer till filing of the charge-sheet.

The applicant shall shall not tamper prosecution evidence. 12.
