Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 10/2026 registered with Police Station, Mahuli, Dist. Amravati for the offences punishable under Sections 118(1), 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The contention is that the offence with which the applicant is charged, is punishable with imprisonment for three years only. Earlier, there was a dispute between the family of the applicant and the family of the accused and the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case.

Issue notice to the non-applicant/State, returnable on 04.03.2026.

Learned A.P.P. waives service of notice on behalf of the non-applicant/State.

Considering the submissions and the nature of the offence, prima facie, it appears that a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicant. 7.
Pending the application, in the event of arrest of applicant - Ganesh @ Ajay Kishor Vishwakarma in connection with Crime No. 10/2026 registered with Police Station, Mahuli, Dist. Amravati for the offences punishable under Sections 118(1), 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with one solvent surety in the like amount.

The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every Tuesday and Wednesday between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm and cooperate with the investigation. 9.
The applicant shall not indulge in pressurizing the prosecution witnesses and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence in any manner.
