Heard the learned counsels for the respective parties. 2.
The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 10/2026, registered with Police Station Mahuli, Dist. Amravati (Rural), for the offence punishable under Sections 118(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.
The allegations against the applicant is that on 22.1.2026, when the complainant was proceeding towards Vitthalapur, the applicant assaulted him by means of stick on his hands and legs. Therefore, on the complaint of the victim, the aforesaid offence came to be registered.

The contention is that the only allegation against the applicant is of beating by means of stick on the legs and hands due to which, the complainant sustained simple injuries. The complainant was immediately discharged from the hospital. The applicant, under the dictum of this Court, has appeared before the Investigating Officer and cooperated with the Investigating
57aba105.2026..odt Agency. Hence, he may be granted anticipatory bail. 5.
Considering the allegations and the nature of offence as well as the fact that the punishment prescribed for the said offence is three years, a case is made out for confirmation of the ad interim order dated 13.2.2026. Hence, following order: i) The ad interim protection granted vide order dated 13.2.2026 is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions except the condition mentioned in paragraph No. 8.
ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. 6.
With this, the application stands disposed of. JUDGE Belkhede
