Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant.

Issue notice to the non-applicant/State, returnable on 16.03.2026.

Learned APP waives service on behalf of the nonapplicant/State. 4.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 371/2025 registered with Police Station, Mehkar, Dist. Buldhana for the offences punishable under Section 132, 296 and 351(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The contention is that the persons who came on the spot to remove encroachment were not government officials. The applicant asked them to show their identity cards and therefore, they falsely implicated the applicant in this crime.

Considering the submissions and the fact that the

2 47 aba145.26.odt case-diary is not available with the Court for perusal at this juncture, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicants.

i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest of applicant- Vasudeo Namdeo Lambe he shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount in connection with rime No. 371/2025 registered with Police Station, Mehkar, Dist. Buldhana for the offences punishable under Section 132, 296 and 351(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023..

ii) The applicant shall appear before the concerned Police Station on 27th Feb., 5th and 10th March. 2026 between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon and shall co-operate in the investigation.

(iii) The applicant shall not indulge in tampering with the prosecution witnesses and shall not pressurize the prosecution witnesses in any manner.
