Heard Mr. T. U. Tathod, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant.

Issue notice to the non-applicant/State, returnable on 16.03.2026.

Learned APP waives service on behalf of the nonapplicant/State. 4.
The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 1069/2025 registered with Police Station, Ramtek, Dist. Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 340(2), 341(2), 341(1) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that the main role is assigned to co-accused Gajajan Namdeo Kanade and co-accused Vilas Jadhav, who made a false promise to the complainant to give a job in the Forest Department and took an amount of Rs.1,50,000/-. According to the learned counsel, the role
2 30 aba151.26.odt of the present applicant is that he was present along with the co-accused at the relevant time. The contention is that no amount was handed over to the applicant.

Considering the nature of allegations, a detailed scrutiny of the case diary is required, which is not available with the Court for perusal at this juncture. Considering the submission, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicant.
i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest of applicant- Ashok @ Pintu Panjabrao Walke in connection with Crime No. 1069/2025 registered with Police Station, Ramtek, Dist. Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 340(2), 341(2), 341(1) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.
ii) The applicant shall appear before Investigating Officer of the concerned Police Station on every Friday for three weeks between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon and shall co-operate in the investigation.
(iii) The applicant shall not indulge in tampering with the prosecution witnesses and shall not pressurize the prosecution witnesses in any manner.
