The learned APP waives service of notice for the non-applicant/State.

The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 36/2026 registered with Police Station Achalpur, Dist. Amravati for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 335, 336(2), 336(3) and 340(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 4.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

The contention of the learned counsel for the applicant is that it is a family dispute. The sister-in-law and niece of the applicant have lodged the complaint RR Jaiswal

2 31-aba-152-26.odt against the applicant alleging that on the basis of a forged consent letter, the applicant got Rs.14,450/- from the Government towards compensation for crop failure credited into his post-office account. Perusal of the casediary is required which is not available today. 6.

Hence, considering the nature of dispute and the amount involved in the crime, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicant. Hence, the following order:- i) During the pendency of the application, in the event of arrest, applicant- Vinod Dalchandji Gokhale be released on bail furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount in connection with Crime No. 36/2026 registered with Police Station Achalpur, Dist. Amravati for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 335, 336(2), 336(3) and 340(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station between 10:00 am to 12 noon on every Friday and shall co-operate in the investigation. iii) The applicant shall not threaten the prosecution witnesses or tamper with the prosecution evidence.
