The learned APP waives service of notice for the non-applicant/State.

The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 53/2026 registered with Police Station Akot, Dist. Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 316(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The contention of the learned counsel for the applicant is that the allegation against that applicant is that he misappropriated an amount of Rs.56,000/- from the Post Office. The documents with regard to the postRR Jaiswal
2 32-aba-153-26.odt office such as passbooks, account book etc. are already with the Department and therefore, nothing is required to be seized from the applicant. It is further submitted that to show his bonafide, the applicant is ready to deposit Rs.56,000/- with the Post Office within a week. 6.
Considering the submission, the nature of allegations and the bonafide shown by the applicant, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicant. Hence, the following order:- i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest applicant- Ajaz Khan S/o. Adil Khan be released on bail on furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount in connection Crime No. 53/2026 registered with Police Station Akot, Dist. Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 316(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station between 10 am to 12 noon on every Friday for three weeks and shall co-operate in the investigation. iii) The applicant shall deposit Rs.56,000/- with Post Office, Akot, Dist.
